On Monday morning, local law enforcement including the US Customs and Border Protection, Eagle Pass Police Department, and the Eagle Pass Fire Department held a memorial ceremony in honor of those who lost their lives in the September 11 terrorist attacks.

   Eagle Pass City officials and administration joined Eagle Pass Fire Department and Emergency Services personnel on Wednesday, May 24, to celebrate EMS week which is held annually from May 21 to May 27. 

One man was killed in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 277 North when a white Ford Ranger collided with an 18 wheeler Thursday afternoon.
